These original breast pumps, made from glass, measures 6" tall. The one downside of the Vintage Breast Pump, is that it is extremely fragile and great care should be taken in the handling thereof. It is operated by applying firm pressure to the rubber extension which imitates the sucking action of an infant.

These pumps were introduced in the late 1920's and reached peak usage in the mid 1940's when electrical breast pumps became available. This pump would make a nice addition for collectors, medical items collections or for the modern practical mother.
